SocialEngine PHP on mobiles

Hey everyone!

I'm a programmer, but I'm new to SocialEngine.

One of our clients uses SocialEngine and needs mobile support. What are available options except the standard SE mobile plugin? Are there any apps for android/iOS with available source code?

    Started this conversation recently:

In checking more with Booya Media, they advised that SE has partnered with them.

Booyamedia, essentially creates an app that pulls your mobile pages from SE

Have you defined what "mobile support" means to you client? Thats a very broad term that may even be covered by RWD..

For native mobile apps apps, IMO younetco seem to have the best app.

HE's,  I was less than impressed with. There are a couple of ofthers but again, they are very unpolished.
You can try out the apps in the app store for younetco and HE and make your own decision. Setup a trial account on their demo SE install and away you go. Both will supply source, but under different terms.

There are some touch/mobile plugins too. Socialengineaddons have a touch and mobile plugin with check-ins as do HE.

For RWD, again younetco have some plugins that work well with their responsive templates.
