Community for photographers

Hi

I'm new to SocialEngine and wanted to ask for few advices.

My plan is to create a community website for photographers and models working in a specific niche. This community will be closed, signup only by invites from other users confirmed by admin.

1. What will be the best plugin to use for photo/video submissions? I've found few, but it's hard to choose. I'll need high resolution photos and likes functionality.

2. Which plugin is better Activity Points (SocialEngineMods) or Credits (Hire-Experts)?

    Hi Den,

Are you still working on a site for photographers?  I may have something you are interested in.

Consider our Media (Portfolio) plugin. It's already used on few photographers and creative communities. It has a lot of settings and supports high-resolution photos. Here is how it looks with Masonry addon

    Hi Den,

There are couple of photographers/models sites based on SE which are using Advance photo album plugin for high resolutions images.

You can use either of the plugins from activity and credits. These plugins can be reused in their  different type of plugins as well (gifts) etc.

    Hope this helps.

    1. If this will be the main plugin of yuor community - build it from scratch. From what I've seen default plugin from SocialEngine Albums and Videos are pretty basic. You will need to modify them to your needs.

There is Alvanced Album mod for Albums by SocialEngineAddons, but from my point of view layout is overloaded with widgets. Also we had a problem issue with one of their plugins

    2. Can't tell because we have not worked with them.
