Activitypoints & Limit Activity

Hi,

I want to limit users of sending messages and posting comments in others profiles.

For that I have installed the plugins Activitypoints but in fact Activitypoints can’t prevent people of doing something, he just decreasing the number of points.

How I can do for preventing actions like posting a new message if the number of point of the person is too low?

Thanks

As suggested by Nick, it would be best for you to contact ActivityPoint developers and they might able to help you with reasonable cost. I suspect for a new third party developer, it might be learning curve as well and might cost you more or might not able to complete the desire functionality.

I think you will need some custom modification. Or contact developer of Activity Points plugin with this feature request.

For example in this Q&A module we use right now there is a points system. It allows to limit users, so until they will get X points by answering questions you can ask anything.

Maybe there is something like this in Actvity Points?

      Thanks for your answer.
In the plugin ActivityPoint there is no limit to let or not people don’t something.
I think that I will have to develop a little bit, but I don’t know how to do it and where can I put my code to prevent an act on the activity wall....  more

I suggest you to contact developers of the module first. Most likely it's not the first time they receive such request. It could be they have already done this modification for other clients. This means it will cost less for you.
